Designed for accurate and reliable measurements. Calibrated with markings down to 1/16 of an inch (1.59 mm). Quickly find the center and determine accurate margins and borders using the center finding ruler side. Then, switch to the standard ruler side for traditional measuring. Easy-to-read measurement markings are engraved at a depth that will last over time without wearing off. Additionally, the ruler includes a 5/16 inch (7.94 mm) hole for hanging storage.

Benefits of the Center Finding Rulers:

  • Sturdy cast acrylic that is thick enough to withstand shop and production use
  • Smooth, strong right angle edges that are perfect for accurate drawing and cutting
  • Clear acrylic allows you to see through the ruler for precision placement and less material waste
  • Fluorescent blue acrylic keeps the ruler from disappearing on your workbench (Now offering in a clear color option as well!)
  • Proudly made in the Grit Mercantile studio in Texas, USA

I love sewing geegaws and this one is really useful. It's nice to have around for finding the center of a rectangular or square pattern piece, but it's also just handy as a ruler for small measurements. The acrylic is smooth and it's also very useful for drawing straight lines. I have a collection of clear rulers but I grab this one often.

As described, just what I was looking for. Thanks for the fast shipping.

As described. The ruler did come with a piece of paper adhesive on the back, which I learned you just need to peel off.

These rulers are top quality and is just as described and shown. Shipping was good. They're lifetime durable the only thing that would be a challenge is when using on anything with a white background as shown in my Pic. I cannot see the markings clearly. But it would be the same if they used any other color markings. I love these rulers and happy I purchased them.

The ruler shows amazing craftsmanship, and I doubt there is any other like it. I can only imagine the beautiful leather goods this company creates if something like a ruler can be manufactured with such high quality and care.
There was a shipping issue, but not the fault of the company. The company, on their own volition, decided to send another ruler (and included a bonus mini ruler) since the original package was stuck somewhere for quite a long time.
This is a great family business, that cares about quality and great customer service.
I would not hesitate, in fact encourage anyone, to order from this company.
Thank you Amanda!

The service was above and beyond expectations. They shipped me a free ruler , gave me free expedited shipping so that it arrived on time for my husband's birthday, packaged the item beautifully with a handwritten birthday wish for my husband and above all else, this ruler is high quality material and design. It's perfect for a lasting ruler with etched numbers and measurements that go to the edge of the ruler for precision work. Fantastic family owned company and amazing customer service. Highly recommend!
