We use various types of leather, which we tailor to the item we are making. To ensure we get the best quality possible, we hand select our hides. We source leather from various tanneries such as Wickett & Craig, Horween, S.B. Foot, Medina Torres, and Sepici. All of our leather goods are crafted with 100% full-grain leather and are bovine sourced.

Leather is a natural material. Depending on the animal’s environment, bugs that may have bitten, or fences that might have left their mark, it is not uncommon for these to translate to the final tanned hide. This is the “story” of the leather, and we do our best to keep this story intact. Due to variations in the dyeing process, colors and sheen may differ slightly.

We only use low-lead brass hardware for all of our leather goods. This meets the requirements set out by California’s Prop 65, as well as the European REACH standards.

Our leather goods are hand or machined stitched using durable bonded 100% polyester thread, which resists against fraying and has excellent UV resistance.
